Grace Through Faith

God Gives Grace Simply Because He Loves To Do it.

God knows you and Loves you, but even if you don't know Him He still Loves you and is good to you anyway.

You can Love someone you don't know and someone you don't know can Love you.

You can give money to a cause that helps starving children even though you don't know those children, you can Love those children by praying and wishing the best for them with your heart.

And that's what God does for us but on a higher scale.

God Loves both the righteous and the wicked.

The Bible says He judges the righteous but is angry with the wicked everyday. (Psalms 7:11)

Jesus Said, It Pleases God To Bless people, Do Good To People, And Pray For People Who Curse You, Hate You And Persecute You. (Matthew 5:44)

That's how good God is, even though He could destroy us all instantly for the smallest sin, if He wanted to.

You're not good enough to deserve the grace of God.

There's nothing you can do to earn God's grace.

Unless He makes a way for you to become righteous.

In which He did, and now I'll explain.

You Can Do More To Receive More Grace From God.

You can get more grace from God by increasing your faith in His word.

This can seem a little confusing, but look at it as a loop-hole that God created so that more people could receive His grace.

This means the more faith you have, the more righteous you are according to His word, the more authority you'll receive in prayer to do more miraculous things like Jesus did.

Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

And make no mistake about it, faith comes from receiving the word of God, then thinking, saying and doing the word of God consistently enough to reap the benefits of higher understanding of the Word of God.

I think people get confused here because they believe faith is something you don't have to work at to increase.

But building life long faith in the word of God is very hard work.

And contrary to some beliefs, there are some things in some of the old testament laws that you should do to increase your faith in God's word besides just hearing and praying the word of God.

These include fasting from food and water, giving alms to the poor and needy, tithing and offerings to help expand the kingdom of God, and honoring the Sabbath day to keep it Holy.

And your attitude does count.

You do these things because you Love God and want to please Him.

Not to make yourself seem better than anybody.

When you practice these things it helps you increase your faith in the word of God, especially if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, then you'll receive more powerful blessings from God.

It doesn't mean you're "under the law" just because everything that builds higher faith in the word of God isn't easy.

Being "under the law" is a matter of thinking that not sinning as much, and doing these things can get you saved and into heaven on your on own accord.

Jesus gives an example of someone who is "under the law" and not saved by faith:

Luke 18:11-12 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Don't be that guy who gives God half effort, then accuses everybody else of being "under the law" because they're trying to do everything to please God by doing more things that increase their faith in His word.

Don't waste time arguing minor discrepancies about the Bible, instead keep seeking ways to increase your faith in the word of God to please God more.

In which the life of Jesus clearly testifies about.

And we know He practised all of this stuff.

Plus He taught the word of God, healed the sick and casted out demons.

And also many more miracles.
